Our story
Blooming Shed is Tammy Arana and Leigh Rupp. We are long time friends who love flowers and how they bless people. We just happen be neighbors in the Spokane Valley and hope we can become your goto for flowers.
Our flower stand is located in the valley on Vista just north of Boone. We love doing custom bouquets and hearing the stories when people pick up flowers and who they are for. The stand has a variety of price points available from $15-$30 and is open from Monday - Friday from May to mid October or frost. We have a self serve cash box and Venmo @bloomingshedspokanevalley, apple cash is also an option.
For 2024 we have big plans! Tammy has her color pallet all picked out and I am looking or fun new and unique fillers. I like filler that is blooming. Check back for updates and be sure to join our mailing list.
Tammy
We met in the 80’s while attending the same local Calvary Chapel. Tammy has nine beautiful children and two grandchildren, Leigh has three children and three grandchildren. Tammy is as close to a florist as a non florist can be. She likes to plant flowers that will create a beautiful unique color palette. With a passion for working with brides she likes to help create special memories. She grew up on a dairy farm here in Washington and is a mother, sister, wife and daughter. Her favorite flower would be a deep dusty pink dahlia with lots for style.
Leigh
I recently retired from the medical field and am fully enjoying getting my hands dirty. They say that when you are looking for a home it is all about location. For me, I was looking for a land to plant lots of flowers. When the house next to Tammy went up for sale and it checked off all the boxes and it became the perfect location to call home. My current favorite flower is a shasta daisy, they over wintered this past year really well and remind me of the ones my Aunt Pauline grew in her front yard.
